Mauritania sends quantities of fish to Lebanon

Nouakchott, 17 August 2020 (AMI) - Two planes carrying 12 tons of fish left Nouakchott International Airport, on 17 August, for the Republic of Lebanon to help the brotherly Lebanese people, following the painful explosion that rocked Beirut.
In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency (AMI), the Honorary Consul of Lebanon in Mauritania, M. Salame Houssein, expressed, on behalf of the Lebanese people, his thanks to Mauritanian President Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani and to the Mauritanian government for the valuable help, which reflects the depth of cooperation between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
It should be noted that a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad will oversee the delivery of the aid in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
