Minister of Social Action Returns to Nouakchott From New York

On 21 June, Ms. Saviya Mint Ntehah, the Minister of Social Action, Children, and Family, returned to Nouakchott after taking part, in New York, in the work of the 15th session of the Conference of States Parties to the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

During her participation in this session, the Minister gave a detailed presentation on the situation of people with disabilities in our country and the prominent place they occupy within the societal program of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
She also held parallel meetings with her counterparts from Arab countries on the ways and mechanisms that would promote the economic and social development of this segment of society in the Arab world. Last modification : 21/06/2022 23:50:30
