Minister of Culture Offers Condolences on Death of Palestinian Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh

In the register of condolences, the Minister wrote, in the presence of the Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy, Dr. Qusay Al-Madhi, the following:
"We learned with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of the Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was shot dead by the Israeli occupation army.
On this painful occasion, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and on behalf of the Mauritanian government and people, I address my most sincere condolences and the expression of my deep compassion to the people and the Palestinian President, His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen, and the family of the deceased, for this great loss.”
