French Ambassador Decorates President of Nouakchott Region

On 13 May in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Robert Moulie, the French Ambassador to Mauritania, delivered, on behalf of the President of the French Republic, the knight's medal to Ms. Fatimetou Abdel Malek, the President of the Nouakchott Region. 
This decoration, which took place at the French Embassy in Nouakchott, salutes the professional career and the considerable efforts that Ms. Mint Abdel Malek has made to strengthen bilateral relations and consolidate fraternal ties between Mauritania and France. The medal also rewards her pioneering role in supporting decentralization and the special attention she has always paid to the problems of African women, in general, and particularly Mauritanian women.
