Defense Minister Receives French Forces Commander in Sahel "Barkhane"

On 24 January, the Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, received, this Monday morning, in his office at the Ministry's headquarters in Nouakchott, the commander of the French forces in the Sahel "Barkhane", General Laurent Michon.
The meeting discussed the cooperative relations between our country and France, particularly in the areas related to the competence of the said force and ways to enhance and develop them.
The meeting took place in the presence of Colonel Samanté Gandéga, Adviser to the Minister of National Defense, the Ambassador of France to Mauritania, His Excellency Mr. Robert Moulié, and the military delegation accompanying the Commander of the French Forces in the Sahel.
