13th army staff officers’ graduation ceremony.

A ceremony of graduation of the 13th 2019-2020 batch of army staff officers took place in the national army staff academy Tuesday 29 July 2020.
The ceremony was under the supervision of the defense minister M. Hanenna Ould Sidi in the presence of home and decentralization minister M. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug and army chief of staff division general Mohamed Bamba Meguett
The graduation comprises 70 officers which 17 of them are from brotherly countries: kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Mali.
In the name of the president of the republic Islamic of Mauritania H.E Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani supreme commander of armed forces and security the defense minister has confirmed that the graduates had received training and savoir faire in different military science specially in techniques of bases and staff commands.
“The knowledge you received during the period of your training will help you tackle and face challenges in your future careers with confidence. During your career I urge you to prove seriousness and responsibility in all aspects of life ‘ quotes the minister.
He congratulates the Nouakchott academy for its adaptable programs.
From his side the director of the academy colonel Sidi Mohamed Hamady has said this batch of graduates will boost our military and security forces capabilities due the good training they received during the year.
“Up to now 448 staff officers of all armed forces and security branch had received their formation in the national army staff academy" noted the colonel Mohamed Hamady.
Lieutenant-colonel Hamdane Ali Habib from Yemen has expressed his delight and gratitude towards Mauritania and the academy staff for the generous hospitality and the welcome him and his friends has witnessed during the training period.
At the end of the ceremony the minister honored the distinguished officers with diplomas and prices.
The graduated officers handled their class flag to the commander of the national army staff academy.
