Nouakchott,  30/11/2021
On 30 November, Mr. Mohamed Zein El Abdine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers (UNPM), and Mr. Baïdy Agne, the President of the National Council of Patronage of Senegal, signed, in Nouakchott, a partnership agreement to strengthen cooperation and investment between Mauritania and Senegal.

The UNPM president said the Agreement would broaden the scope of promising cooperation prospects between the two countries and consolidate the relations between the two brotherly peoples. Ould Cheikh Ahmed added that the Agreement comes after the president of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Macky Sall, laid the first stone for the Rosso bridge, which will boost cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the president of the CNP of Senegal stressed that the relations of fraternity and economic and social cooperation between Mauritania and Senegal are old and will strengthen further with the construction of the Rosso bridge.
