President of Republic Meets With Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

On 20 November, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met, in Abu Dhabi, with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the State of the United Arab Emirates.

The two sides reviewed issues of common interest, bilateral relations, development opportunities, and diversification of areas of cooperation for the happiness and prosperity of the two brotherly people.

The talks were attended on the Mauritanian side by Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Ould Dhehbi, Mr. Abdel Aziz Ould Dahi, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Administration Modernization, and HE Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Salem Mohamed Rara, the Ambassador of Mauritania to the United Arab Emirates. On the Emirati Emirati side, it was attended by Mr. Rachid Mohamed Jneybi, the Coordinator of Relations at the Office of the Crown Prince, Mr. Mohamed Khaled El Mehri, the Advisor at the Ministry of Presidency Affairs, and HE Mr. Mohmed Ghanem Mohamed Lemheiri, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Mauritania.

The President of the Republic arrived on 19 November in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of a visit to the State of the United Arab Emirates where he will participate, as a guest of honor, in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit, held on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai.
