President of Republic Leaves for Dubai

On 18 November, the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott for Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to participate, as a guest of honor, in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit taking place in this metropolis on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was greeted on his departure from Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministers of Justice and Interior and Decentralization, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott and the Vice-President of the Regional Council of the capital.

The President of the Republic is accompanied during this trip by a large delegation including:
- Dr. Mariem Mint Dah, First Lady;

- Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;

- Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehbi, the Minister of Finance;

- Abdel Aziz Ould Dahi, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Administration Modernization;

- Dy Ould Zeine, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy;

- Naha Mint Moukness, the Minister of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts, and Tourism;

- Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

- Mohamed Ahmed Salem Mohamed Rare, the Ambassador of Mauritania to the United Arab Emirates;

- Ahmed Ould Bah, aka Hmeyda, Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;

- Ahmed Ould Bahine, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

- Sidi Ould Domane, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

- El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.

The President of the Republic is also accompanied by a delegation of businessmen from the National Union of Mauritanian Employers.
