HAPA President Discusses Arab Issues with ASBU President

On 16 November, Mr. Houssein Ould Meddou, the president of the Press and Broadcasting High Authority (HAPA), discussed, in Nouakchott, with the president of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), the issues relating to cooperation with media institutions.

On this occasion, the president of HAPA praised the support that ASBU provides to the Mauritanian media, especially in terms of digital development, through training and development.
The two parties also outlined the prospects for cooperation and partnership between this Arab institution and the Mauritanian press organs and ways and means to strengthen them.

After the meeting, the ASBU president visited the broadcast command center, where he received explanations from the HAPA president.

The ASBU president also visited, in the company of Mr. Mohamed Cheikh Ould Sidi Mohamed, the director-general of Radio Mauritanie, the studios of the Radio, especially its specialized stations, such as Coran radio, the radio of the youth, and the cultural radio.
