President of Republic Receives Credentials of Nigerian Ambassador

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, received the credentials of His Excellency Mr. Adamu Ibrahim Limuwa, in his capacity as the Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

After the meeting, The President of the Republic granted an audience to the Nigerian diplomat with the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed.

Then, the Nigerian diplomat told the Mauritanian news agency (AMI) that Mauritania and Nigeria are both fighting terrorism and mismanagement, adding that there are great opportunities for developing their cooperative relations.
The ceremony was attended by:

- Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad

- Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed El Amine, Director of the President's Office.

- Mohamed El Hanachi Ould El-Ketab, Ambassador and Director General of Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.

-Mohamed El-Amine El-Shamra, Ambassador and Director of the two Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.

- Maata Mohamed, Manager of Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
